HQS re-inspection fee
To all Section 8 Owners and Property Management Companies: A reasonable HQS re-inspection fee of $75.00 will now be charged to property owners per re-inspection based on two situations – (1) when an owner has notified CHA that a previously cited deficiency has been corrected and it has not been corrected and/or (2) if the allowed time for repairs identified in a previous inspection has elapsed and a re-inspection determines that the repairs have not been made.
If you know of anyone who provided false information on a HUD housing assistance application or recertification or if anyone tells you to provide false information, report that person to the HUD Office of Inspector General Hotline.
